Preserve the stories.
Inspire discovery.
Curiosea transforms any museum into a digitally capable, educationally powerful, financially sustainable institution. Built for the people who run museums, not just the people who visit them.
Everything a museum needs.
Nothing it doesn't.
Four integrated engines that transform how museums capture knowledge, educate visitors, engage communities, and create unforgettable experiences.
Knowledge Capture Engine
They just talk. The AI does the rest.
A volunteer stands in front of an artefact, presses record, and speaks. The AI transcribes, structures, enriches, and tags — creating a complete artefact profile from a single voice recording.
- Voice recording — mobile-first, in-app
- AI transcription and structuring
- Auto-generated historical context and significance
- Metadata tagging (era, category, curriculum alignment)
- Age-appropriate content layering

From a single voice capture, the platform generates narrated stories, gamified challenges, study modules, teacher dashboards, and assessment tools — all calibrated by age group.
- Video-style narrated artefact stories
- Gamified discovery challenges by age group
- Extended study modules for post-visit learning
- Teacher dashboard with progress tracking
- Quiz and assessment tools

- Scheduled posting with calendar view
- Image processing and optimisation

Founding Museum Program
Curiosea was born to save the Ballina Naval & Maritime Museum. A defined percentage of all license revenue contributes to their new building fund. Every subscription helps preserve a real museum.
Built to save a museum.
Built to save them all.
The Ballina Naval & Maritime Museum sits at 8 Regatta Avenue in a small coastal town on the far north coast of New South Wales, Australia. Run entirely by volunteers, open seven days a week, it houses globally significant artefacts — including the only surviving raft from the 1973 Las Balsas transpacific expedition.
Its volunteers are ageing out. Their stories — the context, the significance, the human connection to each artefact — leave with them. There is no succession plan. There is no budget.
Curiosea was born from a simple question: what if a volunteer could just talk, and the technology did the rest?
From that question grew a platform. Knowledge capture became education became social engagement became visitor experience. Four engines, one mission: make every museum digitally capable, educationally powerful, and financially sustainable.
